Since starting in Oyster’s Environmental Health team in 2022, Andy has been working tirelessly to establish himself in the market and start growing his network of candidates and build relationships. It’s a bit of a deviation from his previous career as a professional swimmer in Hong Kong, but he’s determined to keep his head above water in his new role (I know it’s a weak joke but it’s the best I can do off the cuff).

What makes Andy good at his job?

Andy is hardworking and driven. He sees himself forging a successful career in recruitment long term, and that means putting the graft in now to see the benefits later down the line. He’s caring, interested in getting to know his candidates, and willing to learn.

Where is Andy going after work?

Back into the pool to side-line as a swimming coach and keep up his impressive swimming skills. That or he’ll be turning his hand to climbing, cycling, or cooking.
