Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer - Major Highways (Link Road, Bypass)

A Local Authority has major plans to upgrade it's transport infrastructure. A major highways project that will take us one-step closer to our net-zero goals - reducing traffic emmissions and congestion, catalysing economic development, improving road safety and create new habitats.

However, for this to occur old habitats and ecologies may need altering; which isn't music to local community groups and wildlife/ecology trusts. This is where you come in.

With great ambition, comes great opposition. Remember that, successful Senior Project Engineer.

With a technical understanding of highways design - where major highway design (junctions, roundabouts, bypasses, link roads) would be favoured - you'll be a pillar in stakeholder engagement, scheme development and completion of CPOs.

This position would be suitable for an experienced Project Manager or an experienced Highways Designer who's touched into PM principals. Whether it's a step sideways or upwards, you'll make an impact.
