A Local Authority in the South West is looking for a Principal Planning Officer on an interim basis. They are seeking someone who can work on Major and Complex Minor Applications for a 6-month rolling contract.
They are looking for someone to start within the next few weeks on the 6-month rolling contract. They would be looking for someone who can go in office once a week, although the working arrangements have been left flexible.
Experience:
- Senior who has experience in Major applications/ Principal Planner.
- Ability to effectively carry out Major applications.
- Significant (5 years + normally) UK LPA experience, ideally in rural or AONB settings.
Working Arrangements:
- As mentioned, this role will need someone who is able to come into office once a week but is left flexible.
- This role is inside IR35.
- The hourly rate is £50-£55 depending on experience.
