A local authority based in the busy area of London is looking for a skilled and experienced Principal Licensing Officer to join their team within the next few weeks.

This hybrid position offers a great work-life balance, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage licensing functions (e.g., alcohol, entertainment, gambling, taxis).
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws and processes.
• Supervise a small team and support continuous improvement of services.

Essential Experience:

• Strong experience in licensing or regulatory roles, ideally within a local authority.
• In-depth knowledge of licensing law.
• Experience managing complex licensing cases.
