Overview of the role:
In the role, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing planning policies, conducting research and analysis, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure that policies meet the needs of the community.
What experience they’re looking for:
- Experience in planning policy development and implementation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement local planning policies and strategies.
- Conduct research and analysis to support policy development.
- Engage with stakeholders, including the public, developers, and government agencies.
- Provide advice and support to colleagues and elected members on planning policy matters.
