Planned Works Surveyor

PLANNED WORKS SURVEYOR

• You will be working as a Planned Works Surveyor with an RP in Hertfordshire who is looking for someone to look after their planned works and kitchens/bathroom programme amongst other responsibilities for 3-6 months and with the possibility to extend.
• You will be on an hourly rate of £37 - £40 per hour, which will be paid through an Umbrella company.

PLANNED WORKS SURVEYOR ROLE:

• Managing a kitchens and bathrooms refurbishment programme
• Carrying out property and condition surveys
• Working alongside a Clerk of Works and another Building Surveyor
• Ensuring their Tier 1 contractor is completing works to standard - pre and post-inspecting new build and existing properties
• Requesting quotes to ensure value for money and daily usage of NHF SOR codes
• Preparing reports on any findings

PLANNED WORKS SURVEYOR ESSENTIALS:

• Sound knowledge of diagnosing damp, mould and condensation within social housing
• An understanding of NHF SOR codes
• An understanding of how to use NEC
• Experience with working with and managing contractors and DLOs
