A housing provider based in London is looking to appoint a Managing Agent Contract Manager on a temporary basis, with the potential for further opportunities depending on organisational needs. This is a key position for someone with strong experience in leasehold block management, particularly within or alongside private managing agents.

About the Role

The Managing Agent Contract Manager will act as a central point of contact for a portfolio of managing agents, ensuring service delivery meets contractual, legislative, and resident-focused standards. The role involves working collaboratively with superior landlords and their agents to safeguard the organisation’s interests and uphold the quality of service provided to residents.

  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to assess service charge reasonableness, identify risk, and support resolutions—potentially involving First Tier Tribunal engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with superior landlords, agents, and internal colleagues.
  • Compliance-Focused: Ability to monitor and manage compliance across finance and health & safety within third-party managed properties.
