Become a Maintenance Operative in a Exciting New PBSA Development!

I am excited to share a fantastic opportunity to become a Maintenance Operative at a brand-new student accommodation development in the heart of London, featuring 850+ beds. My client manages a total of 4,600+ beds across multiple sites and has earned a strong reputation for creating vibrant communities and delivering an outstanding student living experience. As a Maintenance Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping the building running smoothly—handling both reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and rectify resided maintenance issues such as unblocking sinks, showers and other resident related issues.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and security, ensuring the accommodation is a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for students.
  • Conduct regular checks of common areas, plant rooms, powerhouses, and other key areas to ensure everything is in optimal condition.
  • Assist on-site contractors, ensuring work is completed on time while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Your Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the PBSA, BTR, co-living or hospitality sector.
  • Previous experience in plumbing/ carpentry.
  • Experience working with contractors.
  • A strong passion for customer service and commitment to creating positive living experience for students.
  • Team work & Communication.
