Interim Head of Compliance

Location: Southeast England
Contract Type: Interim (12 months)
Rate: £450 - £500 per day (Outside IR35)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Interim Head of Compliance for our client, a reputable public sector organisation in South East England. This role is critical in leading compliance initiatives and ensuring that the organisation adheres to regulatory standards while driving meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Change Management: Spearhead initiatives to enhance compliance frameworks and operational processes.
• Policy Development: Design and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
• Audit Response: Develop actionable plans in response to audit findings, driving continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and teams to foster a strong culture of compliance.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance best practices.

Ideal Candidate:

• Significant experience in a compliance role, preferably within the public sector.
• Proven track record of delivering change and driving improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in office 3 times per week.
