Design, Development and Delivery of major Infrastructure projects for an Authority with the largest capital and revenue budget in the country.
We are working with a County Council situated in the South-East seeking a Director of Major Infrastructure Delivery. For an initial period of 3-6 months.
The respective candidate will oversee the significant capital and complex highway projects, including the Thames River Flood alleviation scheme, driving internal and external stakeholder relationships.
You'd be providing senior strategic leadership for the major infrastructure delivery service, responsible for the development, design, and delivery of major infrastructure and highway improvement projects (aligned with LTP4 and the council's climate change strategy)
Additionally the oversight of the engineering design functions managing strategic supply chains, frameworks and framework contracts.
You'll have 4 direct managers reporting into yourself and 70 staff.
