Are you a firm but fair leader with strong management skills and a background in income recovery? A Client in Surrey is seeking an Income Team Leader to bring stability and structure to a team that has lacked consistent leadership for a long period of time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Income Officers to ensure effective rent collection.
- Provide structured training and guidance to improve team performance.
- Oversee complex income cases, including legal possession actions.
- Review and enhance income policies and procedures that have lacked attention.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to support tenants.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in income management within social housing.
- Strong leadership skills, with a coaching and mentoring approach.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits, rent collection, and legal processes.
- Ability to review, improve, and implement policies and procedures.
- A proactive and strategic mindset to bring long-term stability to the team.
Contract Details:
- Hybrid working (office-based 2-3 days per week).
- Temporary-to-permanent or long-term temporary contract.
