Housing Team Leader

As Housing Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, community-focused tenancy management service. Leading a team of Tenancy Officers, you’ll work hands-on with cases involving Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and tenancy sustainment, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents. Your leadership will be key to fostering positive tenant relationships and upholding the highest standards in housing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire and Lead: Motivate a team of Housing Officers to provide exceptional support and guidance, fostering a safe and positive community.
• Resolve Complex Tenancy Cases: Provide expertise and direction in cases of ASB, working closely with tenants, legal teams, and local agencies to find effective solutions.
• Champion Tenancy Sustainment: Encourage long-term tenancy stability through proactive support and early intervention, guiding residents through challenges.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with council members, local organizations, and other teams to tackle ASB issues and promote tenant well-being.
• Support Team Development: Drive team success by offering ongoing mentorship, specialized training, and growth opportunities tailored to each member.
