Group Accountant - Revenue

What’s in it for you-

· 35 hours plus per week
· A 6 month initial contract with the likelihood of extension for a further 6 months
· This council take a flexible hybrid working approach- 2 days at home

Expectations of your role-

· Contribute to the development of a strong financial awareness culture across the organisation and lead the budget setting and budget monitoring processes
· To effectively manage operational budgets associated with service functions, in accordance with financial regulations, as allocated by the Financial Services Manager
· Support the exploration of new ways of funding, being innovative and commercial in managing resources
