Financial Controller

The Role: The Financial Controller will report directly to the Financial Director. They will lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring the delivery of timely and high-quality financial information. They will implement and oversee robust financial controls, manage the month-end process, and support the preparation of clear and useful management information. Additionally, they will handle VAT returns, lead year-end audit requirements, perform balance sheet reconciliations, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support the Financial Director with various ad hoc projects.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is an ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience across different sectors, including property. They should have recent and relevant financial and/or accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and exceptional communication abilities. As an inspirational leader, they will have excellent management, coaching, and partnering skills, with a proven record of preparing and delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
