COMPLIANCE MANAGER

  • You will be working as a Compliance Manager with an RP in London who are looking for someone to ensure the organisation meets its statutory landlord compliance obligations in all areas including gas safety, water safety, asbestos, electrical safety, fire safety and lift/LOLER requirements.
  • This will be for a minimum 3-6 months, which will look to be extended if everyone is happy.
  • You will be on an daily rate of £400 - £450 per day

COMPLIANCE MANAGER ROLE BASICS:

  • You will provide assurance that all relevant areas of compliance including Gas, Electrical, Legionella, Asbestos and Lifts meet agreed compliance targets.
  • Keep updated on corporate, regulatory and legislative changes and advise management of the implications to the business.
  • Oversee the administration, induction, training, reporting, monitoring, and continuous improvement of compliance areas.
  • Record, collate and monitor compliance activity and data, producing relevant and timely reporting systems.
  • Manage and monitor relevant contractors to ensure delivery against specifications, to budget, and to lead on all reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy.

COMPLIANCE MANAGER APPLICANT ESSENTIALS

  • Educated to degree/diploma level or suitable alternative professional qualification or commensurate experience
  • Holder of a Health and Safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH)
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation and compliance requirements in the UK.
  • Proven experience in a compliance or risk management role.
