Asbestos Surveyor

A local authority in Hampshire are seeking an experienced interim Asbestos Surveyor to join their team for a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the safety and well-being of our community while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough asbestos surveys in accordance with current legislation and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, including findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including property owners, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure clear communication and compliance.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload to meet project deadlines and targets.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asbestos inspections and remediation efforts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, with relevant qualifications (P402, BOHS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within Hampshire as required.
